RIDGWAY FIRE DEPARTMENT MAIN HALL RENTAL POLICES

1. Hall rental fee will be set as $850.00, with a deposit of $300.00 due when you mail in your online contract, then the balance of $550.00 will be due
    one month before your rental date.   Your $100.00 refund will be returned by mail within two weeks after your rental date.
 

2. Please call after your finished cleaning, as the hall will need to be inspected.
 

3. Professional caterers will not be permitted to use the kitchen utensils. All others

will be on a permitted basis.
 

4. There will be NO PARKING in front of the building or blocking any exit

doors. Please do not block EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT! Must park in UPPER

PORTION OF BI-LO PARKING LOT, OR USE R.F.D. CARNIVAL LOT, OR

Y.M.C.A. PARKING LOT
 

5. The band or D. J. must quit playing by 1AM, and be out by 2AM.
 

6. NO ALCOHOL will be permitted outside the building.
 

7. Alcohol must be served from the bar area only.
 

8. I understand that I will be liable for any and all damages to the equipment and the
    facilities over the above the deposit fee.


 

9. Ridgway Fire Department will not be liable for any accidents and the renter will be liable for any damages caused by any of their guests.

10. RENTER AND GUESTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ENTER INTO THE

TRUCK ROOM OR THE OTHER AREAS OF THE BUILDING.
 

11. There will be no nails, thumbtacks, tape, etc., on the walls or ceiling. Tape may

be used on the tables and over-head wires ONLY.

12. I understand that I am to furnish all garbage bags, paper towels, bathroom paper

and all other cleaning products to clean the hall with.
 

13. I understand I have until 2PM the next day to clean the hall, bathrooms and

kitchen. This includes wiping down the tables, kitchen counters, ovens, toilets,

urinals, sweeping all floors, mopping all floors and putting the garbage in the

dumpster.
 

14. An inspection will be done by a building committee member on completion, to

determine whether or not to return your deposit.
 

15. I understand that I must leave all tables and chairs as I found them. A diagram of

how the table and chairs should be is posted in the kitchen above the speaker on a

cardboard box. Please return the diagram back to the speaker when finished.
 

16. I understand that per Department of Labor and Industry regulations attendance

MUST be limited to 350 people.
 

17. I understand that doors must be kept closed when air conditioners are on. If

doors are open, the air conditioners cannot do their job, and renters have to be

asked to close them, it will be a forfeiture of the deposit.
 

18. If the Fire Department has to clean the Hall and the cost goes over the Deposit,

you will be charged $15.00 per hour, per person, for excess cleaning.

RENTERS ARE HERE BY PUT ON NOTICE::    YOUR DEPOIST WILL BE WITH HELD IF:

ANY DAMAGES ARE DONE TO ANY PART OF OUR FIRE HALL THAT WERE MADE DURING YOUR RENTAL.
LEAVING DOORS OPEN DURING YOUR RENTAL WHILE OUR AIR CONDITION IS RUNNING.
STANDING ON TOILET SEATS, HANDY CAP BARS, SINKS, TABLES, CHAIRS, OR ANYTHING ELSE IN OUR HALL WILL BE A
"FORFEIT OF YOUR DEPOSIT.

WE WOULD HOPE THAT ALL RENTERS RESPECT OUR HALL, IF  YOUR DEPOSIT IS WITH HELD FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE REASONS

OUR FIRE DEPARTMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO NOT RENT TO YOU IN THE FUTURE.
